«Остров зерна» Лемнос, медимн Агиррия и продуктивность Таманского полуострова в IV в. до н.э.

Статья предлагает способ оценки возможных урожаев на Таманском полуострове в IV в. до н.э., основанный на известном по надписи IG II2 1672 объеме сбора зерна на острове Лемнос. Сравнение земельных ресурсов Лемноса и Таманского полуострова позволяет прийти к выводу, что при одинаковой степени интенсивности земледелия потенциальные сборы зерна на Таманском полуострове приблизительно в три раза превзошли бы урожай, полученный на Лемносе в 329/328 г. до н.э. Такая оценка хорошо соответствует урожаю, который можно было бы ожидать в античное время на Таманском полуострове, исходя из прогнозируемой урожайности зерновых и местных земельных ресурсов. Важной частью исследования является рассмотрение вопроса о характеристиках медимна, определенного в законе Агиррия 374/373 г. до н.э. Анализ показывает, что этот медимн заметно отличается от традиционно понимаемого аттического медимна. Одним из объяснений своеобразия медимна Агиррия является его вероятная принадлежность к сфере хлебной торговли.
